Does anything leave my Mac? +
By default, capture and OCR happen on-device, and you can run the AI locally with your own model via LM Studio. Cloud backup is optional, encrypted, and exportable to your own S3 bucket.
Can it capture my Zoom and Slack calls? +
Zoom, Slack Huddles, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams calls are recorded and transcribed, woven into the same searchable timeline as your screen. Speaker attribution is deepest on Zoom.
What about sensitive stuff, like passwords or financial info? +
It stays on your machine. The agent's access is read-only and scoped through typed tools rather than arbitrary file access, and nothing is ever used to train a model or sold.
Do I need to connect integrations? +
No. ReMynd records what's already on your screen, so there's nothing to wire up. Install it, grant screen-recording permission once, and keep working.
Will it fill up my disk? +
You set retention and disk-usage limits, get warnings before you hit them, and can trim older local recordings with one click.

Requirements
- macOS 14 Sonoma or later, on an Apple Silicon (M-series) Mac.
- One-time Screen Recording permission; some features use Accessibility. Revoke either anytime in System Settings — ReMynd stops capturing and won't nag.
Capture
- Continuous background recording, hardware-encoded HEVC / H.264 — built to be forgotten, not felt.
- Text extraction is scoped to the window you're focused on; background windows are recorded but not read.
- The background recorder typically holds around 9% of a single CPU core — the median across real installs, averaged over whole hours of recording.
Search & AI
- On-device OCR (Apple Vision) makes everything you've seen full-text searchable.
- Hit ⌘K to search or ask your memory. Bring your own model via LM Studio and the AI runs 100% locally.
Calls
