Who this agreement is with
ReMynd is provided by M37 Inc., trading as Move37. In this document, "we", "us" and "our" mean M37 Inc., and "you" means the person or organisation using ReMynd.
By downloading, installing or using ReMynd, you agree to these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you are confirming you have the authority to bind it.
If you do not agree, do not install the app — and if you have already installed it, deleting it and its data folder ends the agreement.
What you may do with ReMynd
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use ReMynd on Macs you own or control, for the duration of these terms.
That licence does not include the right to:
- Resell, sublicense, rent or redistribute the app.
- Reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble it, except where that right cannot lawfully be restricted.
- Remove or obscure any proprietary notices.
- Use it to build a competing product from our source or protocols.
We keep all rights we have not explicitly granted. The app, the website and the brand remain ours.
Your account
You need an account for parts of ReMynd to work. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for what happens under your account. Tell us at [email protected] if you believe it has been compromised.
You must be at least 16 to use ReMynd.
Your data is yours
We claim no ownership of your screen history, your recordings, your transcripts, or anything ReMynd derives from them. They are yours.
We also do not have them. As described in the privacy policy, that content is stored on your Mac, and if you enable backup it goes to a bucket you control with keys we never receive. We do not use your history to train models, and we do not licence it to anyone.
The practical consequence is that you are your own backup. If you delete your local data folder, or lose the Mac, or lose your bucket credentials, we cannot recover your history for you. There is no copy on our side to restore from. That is the trade this architecture makes, and it runs in both directions.
Recording, and the people who appear in it
This is the part of these terms with real-world consequences, so it is not buried.
ReMynd records your screen, and can record and transcribe calls. Other people appear in that material — colleagues, customers, family — and in many places the law says something about that.
Complying with those laws is your responsibility. Specifically:
- Some jurisdictions require all parties to consent to a call being recorded; others require only one. Which applies depends on where each participant is, not where you are.
- Your employer, your client or your platform's own terms may restrict recording independently of the law.
- If you handle other people's personal data through ReMynd in a professional capacity, you are likely the controller of it, and the obligations that come with that are yours.
The app cannot make these judgements for you, and we do not pretend it can. Before you record a call with other people on it, make sure you are allowed to.
You agree not to use ReMynd to record anyone unlawfully, to capture material you have no right to capture, or to build a surveillance tool aimed at someone who has not agreed to it.
Acceptable use
Do not use ReMynd to break the law, infringe someone's rights, distribute malware, attack our infrastructure or anyone else's, circumvent usage limits, or resell access.
We may suspend an account that is doing any of these. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you why and give you a chance to fix it first.
Plans, billing and cancellation
ReMynd is free to download and run locally. Paid plans add capacity and features, including encrypted cloud storage. The specifics of the plan you buy — what it includes and what it costs — are the ones shown at the time of purchase.
- Renewal. Paid plans renew automatically for the same period until you cancel.
- Cancelling. You can cancel at any time. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and then stops. We do not pro-rate a partial period.
- What cancelling does not do. It does not touch the history stored on your Mac. That is local and remains yours. If you were using our paid cloud storage, export your data before the period ends.
- Price changes. If we change the price of a plan you are on, we will tell you by email at least 30 days before it takes effect, and you can cancel before it does.
- Refunds. If ReMynd has not worked for you, email [email protected] within 14 days of a charge and we will refund it. Beyond that we consider requests case by case. Statutory refund rights in your country apply regardless of anything in this section.
- Taxes. Prices exclude tax unless stated. You are responsible for any tax that applies to you.
The AI features
ReMynd's search and agent features generate answers using language models, including models run by third parties. See the privacy policy for exactly what is sent and when.
Generated answers can be wrong, incomplete, or confidently mistaken. They are a starting point, not a source of truth. Do not rely on them for legal, medical, financial or other consequential decisions without checking the underlying material — which ReMynd will show you.
You are responsible for what you do with the output.
Third-party services
ReMynd depends on services we do not control, including Apple's platform, our authentication and payment providers, and the AI providers named in the privacy policy. Their availability and their terms are not ours to guarantee. If you connect ReMynd to your own storage bucket, your relationship with that provider is yours.
Availability and changes
We will try to keep ReMynd working well, but we do not promise uninterrupted availability. Locally, the app keeps recording and searching whether or not our services are reachable — that is a deliberate property of the design, not a coincidence.
We may add, change or remove features. If we remove something you are actively relying on in a paid plan, we will give you reasonable notice and, if you would rather stop, a fair refund of the unused period.
Beta features
Features marked beta, preview or experimental are exactly that. They may change, break, or be withdrawn, and they are excluded from any commitment elsewhere in these terms.
Disclaimers
To the fullest extent the law allows, ReMynd is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, that it will capture everything you expect it to, or that generated answers will be accurate.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected by anything in these terms.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue or data.
Our total liability arising out of or relating to ReMynd is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 50.
Given that your history is stored on your own hardware, we want to be direct about one case in particular: we are not liable for loss of your local data, including from disk failure, an OS upgrade, deletion, or your own backup configuration. Keep your own backups of anything you cannot afford to lose.
Termination
You can stop using ReMynd at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these terms, or if we stop offering the service.
If we terminate without cause, we will refund the unused portion of any paid period. The sections that by their nature should survive — your data ownership, disclaimers, liability, governing law — survive termination.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that materially affects you, we will update the date at the top and notify account holders by email at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Continuing to use ReMynd after that means you accept the new terms. If you do not, cancel before they take effect and we will refund the unused period.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and the courts located there have exclusive jurisdiction — except that if you are a consumer, you keep the right to bring proceedings in the courts of the country where you live, and the mandatory consumer law of that country still applies to you.
